This symposium provides government accountants and others interested in supporting the profession an opportunity to share knowledge and obtain cost effective training in a variety of areas pertinent to maintaining a quality profession. Please mark your calendars now to reserve these dates.
This year’s conference doubles as the AGA Southeast Regional Professional Development Conference and is expected to draw members from other AGA chapters in the region. To accommodate our out-of-town guests the conference location has moved to the Florida State University’s new, state-of-the-art Augustus B. Turnbull III Conference Center. Special room rates have been negotiated with the Marriott Residence Inn Tallahassee Universities at the Capitol. The hotel is within walking distance of the Turnbull Center.
The theme for this year’s conference is entitled Character Counts! Conference objectives will be to emphasize the importance of public faith and trust in government and common sense financial responsibility through ethics, accountability and transparency.
We look forward to seeing you in February as our second annual conference will build upon our prior year success and is envisioned to be even more stimulating, thought-provoking, and fun!
